Accessing the Ezeedata Supplier Portal

Before you sign in to the Ezeedata Supplier Portal, you will need a username and password.

NOTE: If you are the person who enrolled for the service, you selected your own password and will not have an email with this information.

Follow these steps to sign in:

Open your browser (Internet Explorer v7.0 or newer).
Go to the following web address (URL): https://productregistry.bighammer.com.
Enter your case-sensitive username and password in the fields provided. NOTE: Enter the password exactly as it appears in the e-mail. The password can be copied from the email and pasted into the password text field.
Click Sign In.

When you sign in to the Ezeedata Supplier Portal for the first time, you may be prompted to change your password. Follow these steps to change your password:

Enter your username in the Username field.
Enter the current password in the Current password field.
Enter your new password in the New password field. NOTE: Your password must be at least 8 characters long and contain characters from at least three of the following groups: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, special characters.
Re-enter your new password in the Confirm new password field.
Click OK. The system changes the information and displays the confirmation and a Sign In button.
Click Sign In.
Enter your username and new password in the fields provided.
Click Sign In to access the Ezeedata Supplier Portal home page.

Troubleshooting

Error: You are not authorized to view this page.

If you get this error, you either clicked Cancel in the Sign In pop-up dialog or entered the incorrect password more than three times. Go back to https://productregistry.bighammer.com and try again. If you continue to have problems signing in, see the password help article for more details.

Prepare Your Global Location Number (GLN)

A Global Location Number (GLN) identifies a legal or physical entity in your organization. For many companies, having one corporate GLN is sufficient. However, some companies may choose to create multiple GLNs if they have multiple locations. A GLN is a 13-digit number, which is a combination of your EAN.UCC Company Prefix (aka GS1 Company Prefix), a Location Reference Number, and a Check Digit.

A GLN is required for participation in Ezeedata GDSN and Ezeedata Commerce.

Purpose of the GLN

The GLN allows you to uniquely identify the source of a given product. It is one of the identifiers in the Catalog Item key.

Finding your GLN

Your company may already have a GLN. You can search for your GLN on this website: http://gepir.gs1.org/V31/xx/search_by_name.aspx?Lang=en-US

Creating a GLN

If you do not have a GLN, you can create a GLN using your EAN.UCC Company Prefix (aka GS1 Company Prefix). When you are prompted to add your GLN in the Ezeedata Supplier Portal, you can click the Help Me Create It link to have the system generate a GLN for you. If you do not have an EAN.UCC Company Prefix (aka GS1 Company Prefix), you can apply for one on this site: http://barcodes.gs1us.org/

Follow these steps to have the system create a GLN for you:

Click the Help me create it link on the page where you are being prompted for a GLN.
Enter your EAN.UCC Company Prefix (aka GS1 Company Prefix).
Click Submit.
Enter a Location Reference Number (this number can be whatever you want it to be).
Click Create.
The system generates the GLN and places it in the GLN field.

A GLN is not the same thing as a GTIN or a UPC

NOTE: A GLN is not the same thing as a GTIN or a UPC. You should not create a new GLN for each product.

Troubleshooting

Error: The GLN you have chosen failed the checksum validation.

If you receive this error, the GLN you entered did not pass the checksum validation. Make sure you entered the correct GLN. If you continue to get this error, your company has an invalid GLN and will need to create a valid GLN.

Error: The GLN you have chosen does not have 13 digits.

If you receive this error, the GLN you entered did not have 13 digits and is not a valid GLN. Make sure you entered the correct GLN. If you continue to get this error, your company has an invalid GLN and will need to create a valid GLN.
